Think efficiently, use existing energy

Industrial plants and power plants produce enormous amounts of heat, which can also be seen from the outside in the form of gigantic cooling towers or dry coolers. Let’s think efficiently: Why artificially cool this generated heat instead of simply using it? UHRIG acts in line with this idea and has found a method for practical implementation with its Therm-Liner, a technical system for intelligent sewer network management. The excess energy – the waste heat – from power plants and industry is transferred to the wastewater via the Therm-Liner system, transported via the sewer network and taken downstream for heating and cooling of buildings or entire residential areas. Modern control systems from the sewer network management enable demand-oriented abstraction: The sewer network thus becomes an optimised heating network.
